Praying at home today:
God who keeps us from all evil
The Lord is risen!
He is risen indeed. Alleluia!
A warm welcome to PrayingAtHome.com, where you can find worship resources for praying at home today or wherever you are.
We hope these readings, prayers, music and short reflection will help you stay in touch with the Church and to sustain you on your journey through life.
If this is your first visit to this website, then you might like to read about the common elements and the suggested structure for each day’s prayer.
Opening to the Word
You can spend a few moments in silence,
focussing on your breathing
to become more mindful of the present moment
and to open yourself more fully
to God’s presence within you.
The Lord will keep you from all evil;
God will keep your life.
The Lord will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time on and for evermore.
Dominus custodit te ab omni malo;
custodiat animam tuam Dominus.
Dominus custodiat introitum tuum et exitum tuum,
ex hoc nunc et usque in saeculum.
L’Eternel te gardera de tout mal,
Dieu gardera ta vie.
L’Eternel gardera ton départ et ton arrivée
dès maintenant et pour toujours.
The Liturgy of the Word
Here are today’s Bible readings. You can read just one, or all of them if you have time.

In the reading from Ezekiel, we have another account of a human being encountering God. And, as in other accounts, it is so that the subject, here Ezekiel, is sent to do a task.
This ties in with what we heard on Sunday: Saul, renamed Paul, the enemy of the faith but chosen by God to be the Apostle to the Gentiles.
Although usually, we don’t experience such visions, we too are called to do God’s work in the small corner of the world in which we live: to bring God’s grace to others, through living a life of generous caring.
Music for reflection
In the light of the Risen Christ
and in communion with Athanasius (Bishop, 373),
we continue our journey in faith:
- that we may have the courage to bring God’s word to others
- for refugees and migrants seeking a place of safety
especially those who have come to our communities
that we may welcome them warmly, giving hope in place of fear
- for Jingjing66 and family who miss her brother
- for Jane and Nick

The Lord’s Prayer
in English, Latin and French
– The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your Kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those
who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom,
the power and the glory are yours,
now and for ever.
– Pater noster
Pater noster, qui es in cælis;
sanctificetur nomen tuum:
adveniat regnum tuum;
fiat voluntas tua,
sicut in cælo, et in terra.
Amen.
who, in the death and resurrection of your Son,
have raised up this fallen world:
may we and all your people,
whom you have saved from the gates of everlasting death,
rejoice in your eternal presence;
through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, world without end. Amen.
Returning to the world
